About Me

Welcome to my Website! My name is Thomas Askharoun, currently in my first year of pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering complemented by a minor in Cybersecurity Computational Foundations at The Pennsylvania State University. My academic journey is driven by a profound interest in Hardware, and Cybersecurity where I am dedicated to exploring and advancing my expertise in both fields.

Personal Background

My journey started in Egypt and, at the age of nine, my family and I made a big leap to the US, where I've been soaking up every bit of culture and experience since. Ever since I was a kid, I've had a thing for computers. At eleven, I wasn't just playing games—I was that kid who wanted to know how the games were made. Fast forward to today, and I'm in Computer Engineering at Penn State, with a side of Cybersecurity, because why not? I got to test my coding at Esync Technologies as a software engineering intern. It wasn't just about getting my hands dirty with code; it was about being part of a team that's out there solving real problems. When I'm not tangled up in code, you'll find me lacing up my running shoes or chilling out with a good TV series (Suits is a really good option). There's something about following a show, episode by episode, that beats a two-hour movie for me. I'm all about making technology safe and secure for everyone-I have a thing for pen testing. It's not just an academic thing; it's personal. This website? It's my playground. Built it from scratch with HTML and CSS to really get into the guts of web development.

Professional Experience

My professional journey has been guided by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and excellence. Here are some highlights:
